Expressway Coaches makes a return trip to Volvo

Rotherham operator Expressway Coaches, have once again turned to Volvo with the order of a B11R JHV2 as part of a fleet expansion.

The family-owned and operated business took delivery of the 53 seat coach to add to its fleet, which covers various work including private and corporate hire, as well as UK and continental touring.

Expressway Coaches Managing Director, Peter Regan, explained: “We have had a great experience with our Volvo B8R SC5 which we purchased earlier last year and since then have only heard good things about the Volvo B11R JHV2.

“This is the third year in a row that we have returned to Volvo and our experience with the quality of the vehicles has been excellent. When searching for a new addition to our fleet, the Volvo B11R JHV2 was a clear choice for us; it offered the space we were looking for as well as the onboard toilet that we require for our touring work.

“Our local Volvo dealership, Crossroads in Rotherham, provides excellent aftersales support for our external service requirements, and throughout the purchasing process we dealt with Bob McGarry at Volvo Bus who is extremely knowledgeable and supportive.”

Volvo Retail Bus & Coach Sales Manager, Bob McGarry, said: “We are pleased to supply Expressway with a new Volvo and it’s great to see a loyal customer returning to us because of continued positive experience with our vehicles.

“We know that the B11R chassis will give Peter and his team the operational performance, fuel economy and reliability they need for their busy touring business.

“We are confident Expressway Coaches will be happy with the vehicle and that their passengers will enjoy the ride comfort it provides.”

Expressway Coaches has more than 20 years’ experience in luxury coach travel. The new Volvo coach is set to work on a variety of UK and European touring including London, Lake Garda, the Netherlands, and Spain.
