Holiday Inn Birmingham - Launch of Marco's New York Italian

Holiday Inn Birmingham approached NC Creative Group to manage the opening of its new in-house restaurant Marco’s New York Italian. Our brief included a PR campaign to create a buzz around the opening, as well as co-ordinating a high profile VIP event for key journalists, bloggers and other movers and shakers.

More than 100 people attended the VIP cocktail reception with look-a-like Marilyn Monroe serenading the guests and a vintage yellow New York taxi cab adding a touch of old school American glamour to the occasion.

The event was a huge hit on Twitter and also secured substantial press coverage in print and online as well as several highly positive reviews from influential local food bloggers.
